The RAM journey (so far)

Today
In early 2019, our family-run team comprising father, son, and his wife seized an opportunity to combine their industry experience to deliver trade and facility maintenance solutions to two sites—a school and a hospitality precinct—in the Perth CBD. Leveraging our relationships with reliable trades, we offered a holistic approach to meet the building maintenance needs of our clients.
At that time, we had two full-time employees supporting our operations.
Throughout 2020, due to our very happy clients and commitment to excellence, RAM experienced significant growth. We expanded our client base to include government defence sectors, commercial and residential real estate companies, and additional hotel and hospitality clients. This growth led us to increase our team, employing one part-time employee to support our operations.

We also expanded our network of RAM-inducted tradespeople across the beautiful state of WA, surpassing 50.

As we continued to deliver, 2021 marked another significant expansion. Our relationships with existing clients flourished, allowing us to complete an impressive 1,700 jobs in 2021. Recognising the increasing demands of the business, we welcomed a service coordinator to the RAM team. Additionally, we relocated to a warehouse in Malaga to efficiently manage our day-to-day storage requirements for construction equipment and materials.
By the end of 2021, we had three full-time employees and two part-time employees, with over 100 RAM-inducted tradespeople across Perth and Western Australia.
The momentum carried into 2022, where we solidified our position in the industry. With over 2,200 annual jobs, we witnessed a substantial increase in average job values compared to the previous year. Our trade pool continued to strengthen, and our commitment to doing the right thing for our clients and end-users positioned us for success. To support our expanding operations, we welcomed a new building practitioner, a projects administration support position, and a project manager.
By the end of 2022, our team grew to five full-time employees and three part-time employees, with more than 150 RAM-inducted tradespeople across the state.
In 2023, our growing team reinforced what we always believed - their importance as our biggest asset. Embracing Richard Branson's wisdom, “If you look after your employees, they will look after your customers," we emphasised investing in our staff. This investment paid off immensely, resulting in high staff retention rates and returning clients. We know happy and satisfied staff fuels the success of RAM, driving the expansion of our client base. As a result, we welcomed full-time carpenters and trade assistants to meet the growing demands of various commercial clients and new federal government works.
Today, we proudly employ seven full-time employees and four part-time employees, with over 170 RAM-inducted tradespeople across the state.
We continue to build upon the solid foundation we have established, providing exceptional asset maintenance solutions while prioritising the well-being of our team and the satisfaction of you, our clients.
